Welcome!

This collection of tools and objects, some common, some unusual and some unknown attempts to remember how things had been before technology (and China) changed our world.  Many of these tools were hand wrought by their owners for specific needs or applications. Some have been reworked into different, unrelated tools; it was after all, just a good piece of metal.

The workmanship, time, care and thought that went into creating these objects was the initial reason they were collected (and coveted); few things created today compare.  This collection has been broadly categorized into the following groups: Railroad, Metalwork, Mechanical, Agriculture, Construction, Measuring, Axes and Household.  This website allows me to share these treasures with anyone interested in great old items from the past.

Many of these objects are available on a short term basis for museums and schools or as props.

If anyone has any additional information about any of these objects (especially the unknown ones), I would appreciate hearing from you.
